This website was created through the initiative of his daughter Regula Hauser Scheel-Ziegler and with the great help of Professor Juerg Naenni and the contribution of colleagues and friends.
They would like to cherish the memory of Hans Ziegler and make his work as a scientist, as a teacher and as a personality accessible to the public.

The “TIMELINE” presents a chronological survey of the activities of Hans Ziegler: his teaching, his research, his publications in journals and his educational books on mechanics, on structural stability and thermo mechanics.

In “MEMORIES” you will find photographs and a series of anecdotes and stories of people who were closely related to Hans Ziegler.
“ABOUT MY LIFE” is a document in which Hans Ziegler describes his life in his own words.
In “OBITUARY” you will find one obituary and appreciation by Professor Mahir Sayir, which stands for the numerous obituaries published for Hans Ziegler.
